Campos do Jordao

Campos do Jordao

For Brody's 30th birthday, we celebrated by traveling by bus to a little German mountain-town three hours outside of Sao Paulo. From the cute gingerbread style inns to the Christmas lights lining the streets, we did not feel like we were in Brazil!

Campos do Jordao is known for it's chocolate, fondue and breweries! I hand-picked chocolates from this "chocoletaria".

We spotted horses grazing right outside of our bed and breakfast on our morning jog!

This dog captured our attention as we walked through a dog show in the center of the city!

The colorful chairs and hanging plants added character to this  outdoor restaurant.

We passed this inn on our uphill walk back to our bed and breakfast.

This is our view from our  room.

We went to Baden Baden for lunch on Saturday and tried sausages with mustard sauce and three types of their beer.

We ordered a pig's knee with potatoes and sauerkraut.

Little lake filled with swan row boats.

Brody loved his lemon-honey tea in the afternoon.

We ate at So Quejo on Saturday night and enjoyed cheese and meat fondue. We tried 12 different types of sauces!

What a cute mountain man!
