About Me

I am a twenty-seven year old Texan, wife to the most loving and patient man, sister to two (other) FABULOUS triplets, future golden doodle owner, aspiring cook, painter, and documenter of all things breathtaking and beautiful in life.

My husband, Brody, and I have been blessed with the amazing opportunity to live abroad for two years in Sao Paulo, Brazil. We were transferred for his job, and I will be teaching 5th grade at an international school there too!

This blog was born as a tool to post about our new life in Brazil and to keep everyone updated on our adventures. I am excited to share our ups and downs from culture shock, our "I can't believe that just happened moments," and the 'whoopsies' as we go about our daily lives as beginning Portuguese speakers in Brazil.

Don't worry! I will also be posting photos from our travels around South America, new recipes of meals prepared in our tiny Brazilian kitchen, and images and ingredients of popular drinks down there (ie..cocktails, fresh fruit smoothies, etc.).
